Meet the Energised Performance coaches.
Your Head Coach Kim Ingleby
IFS Personal Trainer of the Year 2007 (REPS Level 3)
GB Sports Massage Therapist (SMA Level 3)
Master Practioner Hypnotherapy, NLP & TLT (TM) (ABNLP, ABTLT & ABH)
Kim Ingleby is the founder of Energised Performance and brings great knowledge, energy and passion to her company. Kim established Energised Performance in 2004, and has seen the business expand and grow, from a concept and a few personal training clients, to a thriving and growing business offering a wide range of services. These include corporate presentations, individual services (personal training, sports therapy and coaching), courses and Energy Fitness Camps.
Over the years Kim's reputation has begun to spread because she genuinely wants to help people achieve their goals and feel energised. This passion, knoweldge and determination, led to her winning the highly acclaimed IFS Personal Trainer of the Year in 2007 and becoming part of the Sports Therapy Team since 2006 for the GB Triathlon Team.
Kim works with such a wide range wide of clients, achieving empathy and results with each person, for she can always see the potential and best in people. This has led to Team Energised developing - with meals, races and challenges happening with her clients all the time! Kim has exciting ideas for Energised and looks forwards to working and inspiring many more people in the future.
One of her individual clients summarises working with Kim well; "Kim Ingleby has been one of the most aspirational women I've ever met. I would recommend her to anyone who's wanting to get more out of their lives. Kim's approach to training is brilliant, she leads by example and has a positive outlook and demeanour that is totally infectious. I am very proud to have been able to work with Kim..."
Karen Morris, Energised PA
Karen has joined the Energised Performance team after having taken time out to start a family, and brings with her an enthusiasm for the job, as well as an understanding of its clients needs and how Energised Performance can meet these needs.
Having previously studied European Marketing at university in the UK and France, and then been an Account Director at one of the UK’s leading marketing agencies (where her clients included Barnardo’s, Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Boots, Bass Brewers and Alliance & Leicester), Karen hopes that her organisational, inter-personal and communication skills can help Kim grow Energised Performance in the future.
Having met Kim 2 years ago whilst looking for a new challenge in her life, Karen has attended many of the classes and energy camps run by Kim and the team, and also helped to organise the Strictly Energised Charity Ball 2008.
Karen enjoys a variety of sports and activities ranging from scuba diving, skiing and white water rafting, and more recently Karen has competed in the British Indoor Rowing Championships and completed her first half marathon - her next is planned for October in Amsterdam with the rest if the Energised Team.
Jenny Spencer Nairn, Energised Head Chef
I am 25 years old and currently working as a freelance cook in Scotland. I have been on the Italy Energy Camp every year cooking healthy and nutritional meals for the Energised team.
After leaving school I did a cookery course in Edinburgh and then went on to cook in a chalet in the French Alps during the winter season – this satisfied my love of cooking, mountains and skiing all in one!
Since then I have completed a degree at Bristol University in French and Italian - during which I got to know the South West and am now a big fan!
I moved to London after leaving university and worked as a chef at a private members tennis club where I furthered my experience and knowledge in the kitchen.
Having been brought up in the remote Scottish Highlands, I love the great outdoors and wild places. I enjoy being active and to keep fit I like cycling, swimming, jogging, skiing, surfing and scrambling up hills.
I love a challenge and in 2007 I did the Paris Marathon (enduring record heatwave temperatures!) I have also cycled across Italy and Croatia, competed in British Army ski championships and climbed rock faces at the foot of Mont Blanc – the most terrifying experience ever!!
In recent months, I have taught myself to knit and now create and sell my own unique range of knitwear – see www.woolly-wonders.co.uk
I particularly enjoy creating healthy new salads and vegetarian meals using fresh and seasonal ingredients, so watch this space for recipe ideas!
